annoying pop-ups

is there any way to stop pop-up advertising boxes? Is
there a setting that I'm missing????

You can also to to www.panicware.com and download the pop up stopper. If
you look around there is a free version on the page.

set up the firewall on xp this will stop the popups you
my find that you have to do this every time log on but it
is well worth it good luck
