Annoying Errror Message

W

Wade Terry

I am having an unforgiving problem. An error message
keeps popping up on my screen whenever I use the "search"
feature to find a file. And lately, I see the same error
message when I go into "CONTROL PANEL" and then right-
click my "LOCAL DISK" icon to check the "properties."
This is the error message I receive:

"Error parsing C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM 32
\URTTemp\config.\machine.config
Parsing returned error 0x80070003"

Can someone please help me figure out why this is
happening? And can it be fixed? I would appreciate it
very much if you could help me end this consistent
problem.

Thanks, in advance.

If you go to ADM. in control-panel,open event viewer, you'll probably fin
alot more events, click on the url (opens help/support) for answers
For youre specific error though,try run,type:cmd In cmd type:CHKDSK C: /
Agree to restart, then type:EXIT Restart computer for it to run.
