annoying "eep/waterdrop" sound when I open webpages in IE6

In a nutshell, that's exactly the problem. For some
unknown reason, I came home one day from traveling to use
IE6, and when I open webpages, I randomly receive an
annoying "eep/waterdrop" sound, upon their loading. I've
tried going after the alert sounds in the Control Panel or
maybe even thought it had something to do with a sound
scheme for windows. Maybe I overlooked something. Please
help, as I am currently hearing the sound in my dreams
(nightmares).

Do you have PestPatrol installed? That's the default "disabled cookie"
sound.
