ANN: Too many favorites? Not a problem anymore with free 1st TurboRun Internet!

Go to your favorite web sites in seconds, even if you have tons of
favorites!

You don't have to launch your browser and look through endless
Favorites menu just to visit your favorite web site.

Just press a simple keystroke to activate this program. Then type a
few letters of the desired web site title and as you type, 1st
TurboRun Internet narrows down the list of matching favorites. Even if
you have tons of favorites, usually you will find your favorite with
just two or three letters. Once you find it, you just need to press
Enter or double-click it to open a corresponding web site!

In addition, you can find all recently saved favorites in seconds,
even if you forgot their names!

A "lite" version of 1st Turborun (which is shareware, 15 day trial).
Menu observes "Upgrade to the FULL version!" (permanently in view).
So, if this counts as freeware depends on your personal interpretation. :)

Try QuickStart or AlphaCuts (both of which are freeware and do far
more as well) or just use Favorites from Start menu or add it to your
taskbar.

* AlphaCuts includes a feature called FIXED ADVERTISEMENTS. This means
that the images are carried by the software and does NOT fetch their
contents from the Internet when displayed. It is first when the user
clicks on an image that the program, by means of the users default web
browser, attempts to navigate to the URL associated with the image. The
ads will not hinder the functionality of the program.

My personal favorite is: URLBase.

URLBase 5 is a powerful and easy to use internet shortcut manager.
URLBase 5 provides a wide range of functionality, aimed to give you
full control of your favorite websites, whether you're a novice or an
expert.
You can import, export and synchronize your links from browser to
browser all through a powerful easy to use interface. Options to
export your links to HTML format or send your link collection by
e-mail make it easy to publicize or share your links on the Internet.
Management utilities including the ability to validate links and check
for duplicates allow you to keep your links accurate and up to date.
The interface can be customized and automated to meet your personal
preferences.
URLBase 5 is our answer to the increasing demand for professional link
management solutions and is available for the Microsoft® Windows®
platforms.

Looks better than PowerMarks (not freeware) than I have been using for
years -- but -- I don't see on the site the dropped features in the
freeware version.

It has no limits and you can use it endless for free. So this IS
freeware ;)
Of course it advertises more powerfull version, but there is no nag
screens, delays etc...
