Animation Schemes

I guess I don't fully understand animation schemes because when I select some
of them it does not allow the selection. It goes back to No Animation.
However, others accept my selection and display the example. Why is it that
not all of them seem to work when I select them?

TJAC,
I've had that problem for years, for instance descend in the moderate
section never worked.
Only way to cure it is to edit the file 'quickanim.ppt' which can be found
in the office10 folder. Remove the read-only property and edit the file at
will, or even add new animation schemes.

What layout is your slide? Not all of the schemes work with all layouts.

As long as I know it's really nothing I'm doing, then that's fine, I'll just
