Animation from Powerpoint to run in Microsoft Movie Maker???

I'm currently making a presentation (photo)in Movie Maker put want to put
some slides from Powerpoint into it. The slides in Powerpoint are animated,
but when I open them in Movie maker they don't work. Anyone out there know
how to do this?

The two programs are very different, create different file types, and work
objects very differently.

While there are two methods, you will probably need to recreate the slides
in Movie Maker from scratch. The other alternative is to capture the
PowerPoint presentation as a movie file (using Camtasia or such) then insert
the movie into Movie Maker.

I agree it would be most useful (extreme understatement) to have an
interface between these two, but I do not know of one.

Movie Maker just imports still photos, although you can add some motion to
the photos there.

You might want to try Shyam's Capture Show add-in. It should save images of
your file as it animates along. http://www.mvps.org/skp/ You'd pull those
into Movie Maker to simulate the animation. Depending on your presentation,
it might or might not work.
