animated Gif stops!

Hi,

I have an animated gifs in my html pages
and if i click Stop button of the IE 6 browser,
to my surprise all animated gifs stop animating.
But it is working properly in NN.

I have searched in the IE 6 FAQ and Support but
could not get clarified.

Any help?

Hi,

You are right: animated GIFs stop animating when pressing stop in IE.
Nothing to worry about, it's just the way it is. If I recall well, it
was even that way in IE3.
