Microsoft should step up to the plate and fix this problem. Many people are
getting this error and it seems to me that Microsoft should stand behind its
software. Macs are looking more attractive all the time!!!!

Yes.
I just got this error message using my Window Mail. However, I am using
Windows Vista Home Premiuim 32 bit, and all suggested and listed fixes here
refer to going to msconfig for Windows XP. However, there is no 'Expand
file' under General Tab with Windows Vista.

I still need and request help with a fix for the error "An error occurred
while the spelling was being checked" for Window Vista (not XP).
Can anyone help?

Hello... I'm a new user to Vista and I'm now starting to received this
"Error occurred while..." message. I tried your changing language options
fix and it didn't work for me. No difference...

Any other suggestions...?
