An alarm clock program?

T

Teh Suck

I'm looking for a program that will allow me to program the clock in my
taskbar as an alarm clock (well, I guess it doesn't have to be directly
connected to the taskbar clock, but it would be nice).

I'm not looking for one that makes noise, I'm looking for one that will
display a message at the time I tell it to.

Anyone know of such a program?

Thanks.

Check out some of the apps on the ACF pages - then ask the experts here
which one comes closest to your needs:

Clox2000 does that. Roadkil's alarm clock I'm not sure if it has
display option.

You'll notice Clox is an ex- 3.1 app that has yet to get a facelift,
but it works just fine.

A very nice freeware app, while it doesn't replace the Windows clock,
but resides in the system tray, is Kirby Alarm And Task Scheduler, aka
Kirby Alarm.
http://www.kirbyfooty.com/
Registering is free, which also gives you a link to the latest freeware
beta, which adds lots of cool features. [To install the beta you still
need the full install.] I realize you don't want audio, but it does
have several built-in sounds, plus with the beta you can add your own
WAV, MP3, possibly other formats as well. Oh, yes, it does have nice
popup reminders, that can be customized with lots of
repeating/non-repeating options, and can auto-launch other apps as
well. The look of the popup reminders can be customized as well.

I'm still using SmartClock (http://backwater.cz/chmelar/sc_main.php?lng=en

but consider every freeware collections has an alarm clock directory :

You didn't look hard enough. ;)

PTB Sync

PTBSync seems to be the correct spelling, to be revised. . .
