At Comdex, AMD today demonstrated a prototype version of the 64-bit Microsoft® Windows® operating system using 64-bit Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS), 64-bit Terminal Services and 64-bit Microsoft Internet Explorer running on Newisys Khepri systems based on the upcoming AMD Opteron™ processor.

AMD also showed 32-bit Microsoft Office XP running on the upcoming 64-bit Microsoft Windows operating system and demonstrated the ability to access data and files between both 32- and 64-bit applications.

Seems like it'll never arrive, but we will have it in our hands one day. Read the full press release.
