alternate input keyboards

I have Russian installed as a second language option,
with its own keyboard layout, available via the language
toolbar. I have Advanced Text Services turned on. It
still works for Notepad, but I used to be able to type
AOL emails in Russian (at AOL.com), and now I just get
punctuation marks when I type instead of cyrillic
letters. Any suggestions?

See if this is your case:

typing Russian in input forms":
