ALT+TAB not working

My ALT+TAB function stopped functioning. I see a very quick flash on the
screen of the pop-up window with the icons of the active applications, but it
does not stay on the screen while the ALT+TAB keys are held down, nor does
the active window switch to the most recently used application.

I am using a laptop and I have the same problem on the laptop keyboard and
two different external keyboards.

BTW - ALT-ESC does work.

Appreciate any suggestions.

Have you installed the Powertoys?
If then uninstall the ALT-TAB bit of the
powertotys.
