All User Folder hangs

I am trying to set up my new pc with my files from my old pc (win2000pro OS).

I copied my old favorites list into the favorites folder in the c:/documents
and settings/all users/favorites folder.

Now when i try to access any of the folder in the all users folder it hangs
and i have to click x to get out (this generates a send report message).

I also noticed that before I copied my old favorites list the icon for the
all users favorites was a star, now it is a folder icon.

I did not replace the favorites folder, instead i opened it and copy my old
favorites links into the all users favorite folder.

What can I do to get access to the contents in ALL USERS folder?

P.S. I tried using the system restore option that comes with my PC to reset
back to before I coped the favorites but it says it can not restore back.

Try coping them into Your User Favorite Folder.
