and partly accounts for why I don't believe this out-sourcing is the
panacea that companies claim it is.
I've seen the same thing. I've seen the start of out-sourcing, the wave it
it replacing US based workers, the failed projects, the excuses at all
ends, the continued failed projects, and the certified workers (BS, Ph.D,
MCSE's, MCSD's) that could not think outside of the text books. I've also
started seeing the impact of companies that realize the above and have
started moving projects back to the US and to teams of non-text book
developers.
What worries me most about all of the outsourcing is the lower of the
US/CA wage base in order to level it with the rest of the world market.
