All groups in Outlook 2003 are collapsed by default?

Why is it everytime I open up my Outlook 2003 client, all groups are
collapsed?? I have to manually select View > Expand/Collapse Groups >
Expand All Groups each time to get the view I want.

You can change the defaults for a particular view by going into the
Customize Current View dialog, clicking the Group By button, and setting
your preference in the "Expand/Collapse defaults" box in the lower right
corner.
