Contacts views always opens expanded..

My MD has a glitch whereby whenever he opens Outlook (2003) and goes to
contacts, all the groups are expanded. He can go to View>Expand/Collapse
groups>Collapse all groups, but this is making him irritated, and thus he
takes this out on me

Any pointers as to where I can make the views set stick?

View | Arrange By | Current View | Define Views; click the Group By button,
and choose the expand/collapse default in the dropdown box in the lower right
corner.

I've found that the steps Jocelyn gave often needs to be done TWICE. Weird
OK, I know, but do it twice in a row and it should stick.
