After SP 4, now missing WINUPDATE.exe file error msg

I recently updated MS2000 to SP4, installed Norton
Internet Security and ran Norton Virus Check. The
following was identified and deleted from my computer by
Norton. When I rebooted my notebook the following popped
up... missing WINUPDATE.exe file. I did a C: search and
yes it is gone.

How do I replace the file?

WINUPDATE.exe is NOT part of an installation of Windows 2000. Either it was
installed by some other application or it was, in fact, a virus, and has
been removed!
