I recently moved offices, and not am having problems getting into MS Office
programs, specifically Outlook. The system keeps trying to reinstall SR-1,
then comes up with error message 1706. I am unable to use Outlook, and per
instructions from the support website, I have opened an Office program, which
should update the registery and eliminae the problem. No luck.

Insert the CD, start setup and choose the repair option. After that run
Office Update.

Since SR-1 is mentioned one can almost savely assume Outlook 2000.
