Aero Help Please

I have a
INtel P4 CPU 3.00GHZ
504 MB Ram
Intel 82915G/GV/910Gl Express Chipset Family
256 MB Graphics Memory

can aero run on these configurations?

Possibly.
But not all video cards, check with your video card manufacturer for Vista
support.
Generally if the card is not NVIDIA or ATI, the answer is no.
But only the later of those cards will work with Aero.

On board shared mem graphics chip -- prolly not. My nVidia 128MB 5200 does
Aero just fine...nVidia even has drivers that makes ClearType as well as
Aero look fine.

Get 1GB sys RAM -- you need it.

AFAIK the Intel 82945G chipset with 128MB of main memory allocated supports
aero on Vista on a system with 1GB of RAM and the 8245 does not. I do not
know about the 82915G since I do not know if it has DX9 support which is one
of the requirements. It is not an issue as to how the requried graphics
memory is on the MOBO or taken from main memory.
