adware (?) links embedded in IE viewed web pages

Currently, web pages that I view with IE6 have links that are added to the web page, highlighting common words on the page and then when clicked, go to a web page for ntsearch.com (perhaps an adware site?).

Additionally, when I go to my banks web site and log in, I can successfully log in, but then the web page of my account information displays briefly, but then disappers from the screen. I'm worried that there may be some kind of "identity theft threat" that is working on my computer.

A similiar situation occurs when I go to MSN hotmail and log in, I can get to my Hotmail inbox, but then when I try and view the e-mail messagy clicking on the inbox message URL, I get directed to the ntsearch.com web site.

I'd sure appreciate any help!!!

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated with the program's update function
before every use, even when just downloaded. There's also a lot more to do
than just those two programs. CWShredder is also available here:

**Post your HijackThis log to

Alternative download pages for Ad-Aware, Spybot, HijackThis and CWShredder

If nothing there helps, please post back to this thread.
