Web Pages Not Recocoginizing IE6

I didn't use to have this problem:
I am using IE6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2

Web sites such as MSN and Expensibles.com do not recogize IE version 6. When
i try to access my hotmail account it says:

"Web Browser Software Limitations

Your Current Software May Limit Your Ability to Use Hotmail

You are using a web browser that Hotmail does not support. If you continue
to use your current browser software we cannot guarantee that Hotmail will
work correctly for you.

We recommend that you upgrade your web browsing software and invite you to
download Microsoft Internet Explorer 6."
It gives me a choce to download IE6 (in which it takes me to download IE7)
or it says I can continue. When I continue my MSN Home page won't show a
colored theme after I chose one and click "ok". My MSN homepage stays white.

When I try to access Exspensibles.co it says:

"Your browser doesn't meet the minimum requirements...You'll need Microsoft
Internet Explorer 4.01 or higher to use our web based expense program."

Next Problem:
I am using Lotus Domino Web Access Release 6.5.4 Build 429, iNotes6 in my
companys portal. When I click to change Preferences it gives me the warning
that "we are unable to process your request at this time...".

Also in iNotes I cannot see my folders that I have created. I know they are
alive because they are visable because my TSD says they can see them.
IF ANYone has an help for me, I sure be grateful.
I have spent time on the phone with Dell and my TSD and no one knows what is
wrong.

May through August it all worked fine. Then I don't know what happened.

It's possible the UserAgent entry in the registry of that computer is the
issue. The web site looks for that to see what browser you are using and to
change it's web page display as appropriate.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet
Settings

For WinXP and IE 6 the value should be - Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0;
Win32)

Resolution section.
