Adware auto-activating

Hello guys,

I have noticed the vast amount of adware in my computer lately and used a utility to delete those adware. Later I found a file of an adware, named as 'bridge' in the Downloaded Program Files. I deleted it manually. Since then whenever I turn my computer on, a message saying the module 'bridge' could not be find. How can I set Windows not to activate 'bridge' when starting up so that the message will not appear again?
Thanks.

Download, install, and UPDATE the following programs:

Spybot-S&D (http://spybot.safer-networking.de/)
AND (it's AND, not OR)
Ad-aware (http://www.lavasoftusa.com/)

Restart computer in Safe Mode (see Help(F1) for more information), and
scan it using both programs.

Always keep antivirus and spy removal applications (links on the bottom
of the page) up-to-date, and scan regularly.

Jeff,

click 'Start' > Run > type MSCONFIG, click 'OK' > click into the 'Startup'
tab > uncheck the 'bridge' reference, click 'OK' >reboot.

Start, Run, msconfig
Probably under the Startup tab
uncheck reference to 'bridge'

Thanks very much. That message has not shown again
But I receive another message, which is probably sent by Windows ... copied as follow

'You have used the System Configuration Utility to make changes to the way Windows starts
The System Configuration Utility is currently in Diagnostic or Selective Startup mode, causing this message to be displayed and the utility to run every time Windows starts
Choose the Normal Startup mode on the General tab to start Windows normally and undo the chanages you made using the System Configuration Utility
(Checkbox) Don't show this message or launch the System Configuration Utility when Windows starts.

Is there anything else to be done or just check the box then click OK

Just check the box, and click OK.
There's nothing else to do.
