Advices - Help ???

Spider-Man

Hello,

I'm an ex-user of eSafe Protect Desktop, Home User version... but
Alladin doesn't develop this product anymore.

As a victim of viruses and huge spamming, I'm looking for a new
anti-virus, whose features are close to the ones of eSafe:

- working under W98 at least (and XP),
- detecting viruses, womrs, trojan horses, vandals,
- scanning ingoing and outgoing emails,
- scanning vandal scripts on Web sites,
- looking at programs able to connect themselves (sandbox feature).

So, for more infos than the ones of the editors, I'm looking for
advises from users, professional or home users, about the actual
products...

I heard some editors name or products: Norton Anti-Virus (of course),
McAfee, The Shield, Panda, Kapersky...

Thank you in anticipation for your help and advices.

Christophe.

(PS: Please don't answer by email. After the 73 Mb of spam received
tonight, I don't give my real email address anymore.)

I use avast AV (real time e-mail scan)
benign e-mail filter(strips web bugs, javascript, and the like)
spybot s+d 1.3 (I think the new build is great)
spyware blaster (works well with spybot)
spyware guard (by the same people as above)
ad-aware
mozilla (I can't believe I used to use IE+Outhouse)
AVG also running- resident on (avast doesn't have bootup scan for win9x)
F-Prot for dos as backup AV
Kerio Pro
Eraser 5.3
I have the same setup on 2 home computers XP+98se(Except the F-Prot)
Have had no problems with any of these programs working together.
And have been virus free so far.....
