Adress Book

In the help file it states...

"The Outlook Address Book is created automatically and contains the contacts
in your Contacts folder"

I imported my contcts from a .csv file and the address book was not
automatically created.
So when I make a new e-mail press "to" the outlook address book is empty and
if I try to add a new entry to the outlook address book is says
"a new entry could not be added. PLease use the contacts module to create
this entry." to which if I do it still does not show up in the address book
?

You will need to include some information that would permit someone to help
you.
Always state your Outlook version.
You should also include the steps you used to configure the Outlook Address
Book in your profile.
A good place to start is to read the Knowledge Base for your version. Like
here, for instance:

Its ok I fixed it I went to Outlook/Tools/Options/Mail setup/Email Accounts
I deleted my old adress books and resatrted Outlook and all was ok
