Adobe Flash 9 Player for Windows XP Home SP2

Ever since I installed the latest version of Adobe Flash Player i.e. Flash9 I
can only see video, but cannot hear any sound. I cannot hear any sound on
BBC iPlayer, or on the Nikon Digitutor Site. I had the same problem on the
ITV Website and they sent me a "bug fix link" for Window XP SP2 and it's a
success, but only on their Website. On previous versions of Flash Player
there wasn't a problem. I've done everything suggested on the Adobe Forum
i.e. Allow Active X and Direct X, alter the Registry by copying a link. The
link was already there, but I replace it anyway. That didn't work. I also
altered the security settings on IE7. Nothing solves the problem. Any other
suggestions?

Thanks for this, but I've already done this twice before and it didn't make
any difference. I downloaded the unistall and reinstall to the hard drive,
closed everything down except for Explorer and reinstalled the ActiveX. I
still can't hear any sound. Perhaps third time lucky!!

Hi Thanks for this information. Unfortunately, as before, the uninstalling
and reinstalling the 9.0.124.0 version still hasn't enabled me to hear any
sound. The only website that I can hear sound on, is the ITV Wesbite. Still
no sound on BBC and Nikon Sites.
