Administrator Rights

Hi I am hoping you can get my Administrator Rights back for me at login on
the Welcome Screen I am using WinXP Home and have Wireless Broadband the
culprit file seems to be cswGina.dll Message received! A recently installed
program has disabled the Welcome screen and fast user switching. To restore
these features, you must uninstall the program. The following file name
might help you identify the program that made the change: cswGina.dll..
Removing it from the system32 folder only causes more problem at login
The file in question has connections with Cisco.
I need to make changes to my single user machine xp home changes that will
not allow me as a user with full Admin rights to make. I have to sign on as
Administrator but cannot, I have also tried the fix to get back admin rights
on Doug Knox's site this failed as was greyed out so I am at a complete
loss, I tried to delete cswGina.dll for the system32 dir but my machine
could only then be started in safe mode so back the file went and everything
started again without Admin of course.

Boot into Safe Mode (hold F8 while Windows is loading)... you should be able
to log in as "administrator" then.

Or hit CTRL-ALT-DEL **twice** at the Welcome screen and then manually type
the name Administrator with the appropriate password.

Hi, Colin
There is no mention of the word Administrator when on the option page after
pressing F8 I do not get any Welcome screen offering me a choice just a
quick message, loading your settings in the user accounts there is myself
Name---Administrator with all the rights, also another Administrator the one
I can't logon to, well not at the moment at least.

Regards Arthur
