administrator permission

I cannot save documents to my DVD/CD R/RW. I am the only one using my
computer and

am the Administrator. When I try to copy a document to the DVD recorder I
get the

following message:

You do not have permission to save in this directory. See the administrator
to obtain

permission.

How can I gain control of the DVD recorder? I have Microsoft XP
Professional installed as

my OS.

I'm not 100% but I think you'll need some sort of DVD / CD burning software.
If you want to copy using the windows explorer interface then the program
will need to have direct-to-disk capabilities.

Simply having the drive and a blank media isn't enough.

What specific 3rd-party application are you using to copy the files to
the DVD/RW? WinXP has no such built-in capability.
