Administrator access

I am trying to get ris of some processes on start up, and when ever I do that
it says
Access Denied error was returned while attempting to change a service. You
may need to log in using an Administrator account to make the specified
changes.

I am the ONLY user for this computer (it has XP home edition). How do I not
have Admin access and how can i fix this?

You might be one of the "administrators" but as far as the OS is concerned
youre not the "administrator" the s makes alot of diffrence in windows
OS...To
get in xp as administrator, simply tap the F8 key on start up or
restart,select
safe mode, enter xp as administrator...Also,open user accounts, make sure
youre not set as limited user...

I hope you realise that if you are the only user on a computer that it is
impossible to be a limited user.
