Admin/privilige problems

Alright so when I am installing certain 3rd party software/games I get a
prompt stating that the installer dose not have sufficient privileges to
install what ever I am doing. Funny thing is that I am on the adim account (I
have also tries right click+run as admin). Any advice?

Actual message I received while installing (I have tried several different
save folders): ERROR 1303. The Installer has insufficient privileges to
access this directory: C:\Users\public\documents\Pinnacle. The installation
cannot continue. Log on as an administrator or contact your system
administrator

Now For my system specs:
Processor Intel core 2 quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40 GHz

3 GB of RAM

32 Bit Operating System (vista ultimate)

Check your permissions and owner of Public Documents. Make sure that
you have full rights to C:\Users\public\documents\Pinnacle as well.

Your Administrator group should be the owner of these folders. Right-
click the folder, Properties, Security tab, Advanced button. The
Permissions tab shows you who has access and what kind of access. The
Owner tab shows you the owner and lets you change owners if you like.
The Effective Permissions tab lets you key in a user ID and check
their permissions.

Depending on your NTFS security, the installs may continue to fail on
other folders.
