Admin can use DWL-650+, but Power users can't

I have a W2k machine with a Dlink DWL 650+. The administrator account
can use it to network to other machines in my workgroup and access
internet, but the users set up as power users can't. I get a dialog
box that says "WLANMON", with an OK button and a black X on the
taskbar signal strength icon. I just installed the latest drivers off
the Dlink site. How do I give permission to the power users?

Trial-and-error method.
Go to c:\etc etc where your D-link software is installed.
Could be program files. Right click and properties of the
folder and select security. Remove the tick, Allow
inheritable permissions to propogate to this object. You
might get a warning asking you if you want to remove.
Click remove. Add Everyone. Full Control. Or users you
want to have control. if you are not going to use
everyone, dont forget to add "system" to have the full
control.
Check box "power users" full control. If this works, well
and good, or try same way, full control, to power users in
regedt32.
Do R&D at your own risk.
