Address bar

when i click the address bar arrow down , my computer stop responing and the
mouse icon turn to hourglass. After few min it will be ok again. If i
directly type in a web address it will take very long to go to that web page.
I have scan my computer with norton and show no virus infection. Is something
wrong with my ie and how can i reinstall or repair it.

It could be malware/spyware, which an antivirus program won't detect because it isn't a
virus. Try scanning your drive with something like Ad-Aware (the free version).
