address bar

The small arrow (pointing down)- attach to the address bar- the arrow stopped
working. I click on it and it highlights and turns the address blue. It does
this back & forth, but never gives me the list of address, as it should.

Suppose that you're talking about IE am I correct? You need to make sure that
you have populated a history of addresses before you can see this "arrow"
working.

If not, pls clarify on where do you see this "arrow" pointing down...which
program etc..

I am speaking of my home page. The address bar. At the right end of the
address bar, there is an arrow. When it is working- I can click on the arrow
and down comes a list of all the sites I have visited. The arrow stopped
working. I am trying to find out why.
