Address bar searching

I used to be able to enter afew words in the address bar
(with no www. or .com and have it open MSN Search and
display the most likely sites in the main window. I have
verified that all the settings are correct for this to
occur, but I get an error message saying "Cannot
find "search topic". Make sure the path or Internet
address is correct.

Eric,
The first thing to do is to scan your system for the possibility of
unknown\unwanted spyware or parasites that may be causing your problem(s).
