searching using the address bar in IE6

i'm now getting an error that when searching from the
address bar 'this page does not exist', also i now have
http:///? before my search words.... i've gone the
tool>options>... way to make sure that the search
option 'just display the results in the main window' is
slected and yet i still get this problem..please help

So what to do if one's still getting the http://? when trying to do an
address bar search even after taking all necessary precautions? This has me
stumped!

Note: this type hijack indicates an unpatched machine, that is lacking
