address bar entries that won't die

I can't get rid of some URLs from the address bar. I
still have entries that come up (autocomplete
suggestions) when I start typing a URL. I first tried
clearing history, cookies, and temporary internet files.
Then I used regedit, but I have nothing in
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\TypedURLs except the (Default) key.

I'm using IE6.0. Does anyone know how I can get rid of
these? Thanks.

In Internet Options > Content Tab > click on AutoComplete and there are
options there to clear forms, uncheck auto complete, ect.

I tried this, and I could just turn autocomplete off.
But it's helpful sometimes, so I'd prefer to keep it. I
turned it off and cleared all the entries (websites and
passwords), then cleared again history/temp internet
files/cookies, ended IE, then started a new IE session.
Then I reenabled the websites feature of autocomplete,
and the same entries remain. Would it work if I restart
my computer somewhere in the middle of all that, or is
there something else I could try? Thanks.

Thanks! This worked like a charm. I logged on as the
Admin, then deleted the user account history folder
(c:\Documents and Settings\localuser\History), then
rebooted. Everything seems to work now. Very much
appreciated!

c:\Documents and Settings\localuser\Local Settings\History
