Adding snap-in

M

Matt

Windows XP SP2

I'm trying to create a custom MMC console so I have a list of servers that I
can remote desktop into. When I go in to MMC and try to add a snap-in,
Remote Desktop is not in my list of available snap-ins. Is it possible to
add it to the list and if so, how do I go about doing it? I've searched
Microsoft's website and Google but I couldn't find anything that would help
me out.

Thanks.

Do you have Windows XP Professional or Windows XP Home
Edition? The Remote Desktop feature is available only with
Windows XP Professional.

BTW, Remote Desktop is available in Home, to connect to another capable PC,
you just can use it to connect to a XP Home pc.

NO, XP Home does not allow Remote Desktop to connect to it. You can only
connect from with XP Home.
