Adding logical folder to Explorer's tree list

Q

Questor

Hi,

I'm looking for a way to add a folder to Explorer's tree list - in th
left-hand pane, that is, which behaves the same way the "My Documents
folder does. As you know, exploring around in My Documents in the tre
view is equivalent to having drilled down to C:\Documents an
Settings\Owner\My Documents, only more convenient. I have anothe
folder on my C drive which I would also like to give thi
functionality. Specifically, I'd like a mirror of it to appear at th
top level of the tree under Desktop, and as a sibling to the M
Documents folder.

Note that I am not asking about the "/e, /root" tweak to shortcuts an
the like. I don't want to open the folder in a new window, I just wan
to have it appear after the My Documents in the top-level list and b
expandable, etc as normal.

I am Registry Aware [TM], so don't be afraid to go there with me.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
Questo
