ADDING CUSTOM COLOR TO FONT COLOR BUTTON

Looking for a method to add a custom RGB color to the font
color button (similar to what's offered in Publisher)so I
don't have to to go "Custom Color" everytime I want the
color. Have thoroughly searched Word Help to no avail.
Suggestions?

You can't change the function of the font color button itself, but you can
add another button that calls a macro like this one:

Public Sub SpecialFontColor()
Selection.Font.Color = RGB(230, 110, 180)
End Sub
