adding aol account to windows eamil

when i'm trying to setup my aim/aol account in windows mail it keeps telling
me that the server has rejected my login and to verify that my username and
password are correct. when i put it in there it keeps giving me the same
message and i know i'm inputting them correctly. this just happened today. i
haven't had a problem with it until today.

can anyone help me

1) Be sure you aren't listing a "reply to" or "return" address which
is different from the login address --AOL has a bunch of filyters on
their outgoing mail that perevents stuff that is common to many
providers.
2) Be sure you have the correct port numbers --- AOL does't use
"standard" ports for their server.
