Add or Remove Programs problem

[fidworks]

when i open "add or remove programs", there is a long
section in the list that appears as a series of vertical
black & white columns, which together occupy an
incredibly large block of space as though it were one of
the programs listed.

i can't figure out if it is a corrupted listing of an
installed program, or what.

any ideas???
