Add on to the Not implemented Error Message

G

Guest

I get an error message when I try adding a contact to Microsoft Office
Outlook 2007 (beta)
The steps I took from begining to end:
I downloaded the beta from microsoft.com I also downloaded Microsoft
Office Groove (beta). I went to Outlook then I clicked on new on the
drop-down menu ont the standard toolbar. I clicked "contact" I typed the
name, phone number, mobile phone number, home address, and E-mail address.
After that I clicked "save and close" on the standard toolbar then a message
poped up saying not implemented. nothing else just those exact words. I
clicked "ok" and It brought me back to the contact editor. I hop this
message has a little more detail than my last one I had no idea that my
message was so vague

State how you installed the beta.
State what information store you are using and how you migrated it to the
beta.

PS "Downloading" does not tell us how you installed the beta. You need to
specify if this was a clean installation (recommended) or an update of a
functioning version (not recommended).

I installed it clean the recommended installation

I don't think you understand. Are you saying you had no Contacts
whatsoever
and no previous version of Outlook before you installed the beta?
Have you run Office Diagnostics?

I configured it though the internet and I didnt move the data I started
out
from scratch

:

I already told you:
How you moved your Outlook data and configured the beta installation
to
use
it.

I installed it clean the recommended installation

:

PS "Downloading" does not tell us how you installed the beta.
You
need
to
specify if this was a clean installation (recommended) or an
update
of
a
functioning version (not recommended).

I get an error message when I try adding a contact to
Microsoft
Office
Outlook 2007 (beta)
The steps I took from begining to end:
I downloaded the beta from microsoft.com I also
downloaded
Microsoft
Office Groove (beta). I went to Outlook then I clicked on
new
on
the
drop-down menu ont the standard toolbar. I clicked
"contact" I
typed
the
name, phone number, mobile phone number, home address, and
E-mail
address.
After that I clicked "save and close" on the standard
toolbar
then a
message
poped up saying not implemented. nothing else just those
exact
words. I
clicked "ok" and It brought me back to the contact editor.
I
hop
this
message has a little more detail than my last one I had no
idea
that
my
message was so vague

It does remove the previous version.
We need the precise steps you used to install Office 2007.

had had both versions of the office progam on my computer. What do you
need
to know as far as what I did?

Thanks

Then you did not install clean at all.
Also, what you claim is not possible. If you had installed the beta, any
previous version would be removed.
We'll need a more accurate account of what you did.
