Add effects to a table

How do I add effects to a table?

I want to have table that contains squares (columns and rows
contiaining some text in each cell).

I want the cells to come together to form the table.
When the slide is done I want the table to come apart (cells move away,
spin away, etc).
That is it looks like that the table just falls apart.

I believe there is no easy into doing this. Correct me if i'm wrong.

You can ungroup the table to convert it into PowerPoint Shapes. But this
only allows you to animate the table and text separately. You will not be
able to animate the cells individually since the inner borders will become
straight lines instead of boxes.
