Add a note capability to MS word and E-mail

I need to work with perons in the field that have to be coppied on e-mails-
this has to be done in a hard copy format. the problem is I have no record or
copying them once I print it off so I have to print dounble coppies and write
in the person coppied and date. if there was a note capability in outlook
that would allow me to note who was coppied on the original e-mail then my
filing system would be almost eliminated and I would be able to keep my
records totaly electronically.

anyway it is a thought

Several ways to do it currently;
-type it in the message (when already send use Edit-> Edit message)
-attach a Note
-flag the item with a custom message
