We have some workstations that are starting to get
additional security applied to them and it seems that one
of these settings has caused an issue with being able to
use the MANAGE ability within Active Directory.
Whenever you are in AD Users and Computers and right
click on one of these boxes, and select MANAGE from the
list to get the COMPUTER MANAGEMENT info, you get the
following error:
Computer \xxxx.xxx cannot be managed. Windows cannot
find the network path. Verify that the network path is
correct an dthe desitnation computer is not busy or
turned off. If Windows still cannot find the network
path, contact your network administrator.
Choose
This only happens on these newly created "secure"
computers.
So, what right/permission/share is required to be able
to "MANAGE" a workstation from AD?
