ActiveX Error - IE6

C

Charliec

On some sites using IE6, when I click on some links, I get the following
error and cannot access that link (one site is sears.com).

Internet Explorer has blocked this site from using ActiveX control in an
unsafe manner. As a result, this page may not display correctly.

These link does not work and the page is not displayed.

Any suggestions on how to get around this situation?
Thanks
Charlie

The problem with providing the site at Sears.com is that I was in process
of setting up a repair date and was on the page with all the credit card,
etc information when the problem occurred. So I can't repeat and post that
page.

When it occurs on another page, I will post it here if I can.

Parlez-vous francais? <eg>

http://groups-beta.google.com/group...trol"+"unsafe+manner"&rnum=5#05f861aa0e2ce2f6

(Google Groups search for
"activex control" "unsafe manner"
- 8 hits
)

Apparently my contribution in one thread was to suggest using
Default Level Security.
