ActiveSync and Outlook 2007

I cann't get Outllok to work with ActiveSync. I downloaded ActiveSync 4.2
Beta but it says that it cannot access necessary information from the
computer. Any ideas?

Why are you trying ActiveSync Beta? What PocketPC version do you have?

I tried Beta because someone else on here said to try that. I have a Dell
Axim X30.

3.8 works fine for me with the same PPC and Outlook 2007.

I tried 3.8 and it still didn't work. I think it is a problem with Outlook,
not ActiveSync. I may just need to reinstall 2007.

Try the Pocket PC group. You might just need to set up a new partnership.

I am using OL 2007 beta and ActiveSync 4.2. It is working fine, although
the first time I ntried to sync I got some strange error. Rebooted and all
is fine since.

Yes, I am using AS 3.8 and OUTLOOK 2007 Beta and all seems well.

If you have problems with ActiveSync after installing 2007, reinstalling
ActiveSync (the same version) should fix them.
