Something that I find very annoying is when other applications become the top
window eventhough another application has the active focus. For instance, I
have Outlook opened. I start another application that takes sometime to get
initialized. While this other application is initializing I go back to
Outlook to read emails. When the other application finishes initializes it
becomes the top window eventhough I have made Outlook my active window.
Windows should be smart enough to realize that I have made another
application my active window and shouldn't force the other application to
become the top window. Is there some setting in XP that will correct this?
Is this how it works in Vista?
