Active Directory timing out on member server

Drew

Hello

I just can't seem to get my member server which I
installed the admin tools on to stay connected with active
directory. Once I boot it does connect and stays
connected for roughly over an hour. But then is says
server is not operational. Up until this time everything
works fine modifying data within A.D. I try to reconnect
and no luck saying domain controller is not setup
correctly or cannot be contacted. I have heard several
times to check the DNS but to the best of my knowledge it
all checks out. Any examples on how the dns entries
should be would greatly be appreciated. I have brought
it of the domain then back on but the same deal... Please
give any/all suggestions. Thanks in advance.

The entries, that should be present in your DNS server are located in
netlogon.dns file in %systemroot%\system32\config on your DC. Look into your
EventLog for errors you are getting and run dcdiag and netdiag on your DC's
to get extended AD status report.
