Activatin already but continues the countdown

I have re-installed XP pro on my system. I get a message that states "You
have XX days to activate windows" or words to that effect. XX being the days
left. When I am logged on to the system and I get that bubble message, I
click on it and a new window opens stating "Windows XP has been already
activated. Click OK to continue". I then click ok and the window closes.
The next day I get the same thing.

Other accounts (power user accounts as this machine is shared) get the
message but not the window. We now down to about 18 days left. I have even
tried reactivating this copy and it still continues.

How do I get rid of this?

Hi,

Start/run regsvr32 regwizc.dll
Then start/run regsvr32 licdll.dll

If this doesn't help try these steps:

Start the computer in Safe mode by hitting F8 at bootup. Start/run regedit.
Delete the following keys:

HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Cryptography\Providers
HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-20\Software\Microsoft\Cryptography\Providers

Exit the registry editor, restart normally.
