ACT! crashing Outlook 2000

Anguel Iordanov

Hi Everyone,

I am running Win XP Pro, Outlook 2000 and ACT! v 6.0

ACT! is my main database and all my contacts are in there.

If I add the Service ACT! Address Book I am no longer able to run Outlook.
In the middle of starting the application it crashes and asks me if I want
to report this problem. If I remove the Service the problem is no longer
there. Any ideas what could be causing this and how can I resolve it. There
is no service pack on Outlook.

Thanks a lot.

There ought to be. Go to Office Update (from Windows Update) and patch it.

Have you checked with Act support on this? It's their addin.
